Bosnia & Herzegovina - “Whole Country - One City”

“Our cities must be the places where human beings will enjoy dignity, good health, happiness and hope”, reads an excerpt from the Istanbul UN Declaration, of June 1996. According to this definition and the "Whole country - One City" concept, the pavilion and the main exhibition aim to present Bosnia-Herzegovina in the following way and topics : Education, Culture, Gastronomy, People, History, Music and Sport.
The pavilion will highlight the culture and history of the country on a ramp, shaped like an eight, in the center of the pavilion. Visitors can walk along the ramp and watch films about the country's cities and natural landscapes. It will include 60 drawings from the country's children to make the pavilion look like a “fairy-tale land”. The pavilion will be located within the Joint European Pavilion.
