Slovak Pavilion - World for Humanity
The World Expo is a great opportunity to promote Slovakia, a country that is still more or less unknown to most of the Chinese people. The exposition will present Slovakia as a country rich in cultural sights and natural beauties.

The designers and organizers have kept in mind the fact that most of the visitors are coming from different cultural backgrounds using different symbology :
Spiral : the main element of the whole exposition is a spiral. In Europe, the spiral is a symbol of never-ending eternal cycle of life. In China, it indicates generally known symbol of the harmony of opposites – Yin and Yang. The spiral represents return to our roots, as well as the creative power of mankind connecting the past with the future.
Square : Entering the Slovak pavilion, the visitors find themselves at a symbolic central square. It is a typical urban and architectural element that could be found almost in all European cities. One side of the symbolic square is lined with a wall with historical relic fragments..
A multimedia program will present M. Ladislav Hudec, an architect born in Slovakia who designed the first skyscraper in Shanghai and the Shanghai Grand Theatre.
