Paris - Ile de France : "a River, a Territory, a Lifestyle"
Paris - Ile de France will duplicate the scenery of the World famous Seine River via a multimedia approach to let the visitors experience a modern, innovative and high-quality lifestyle in the French capital and most urbanized region in France. The exhibit, entitled "Paris-Ile de France: A River, A Territory, A Lifestyle" will be jointly presented by the city of Paris, Ile de France Region and the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The whole exhibition will refer to the positive international image of Paris Ile-de-France which combines well-being with quality of life, romanticism and heritage.
The display, at UBPA's "Livable Cities" section, will show images of Paris and Ile de France parks and gardens, cultural sites, eco-friendly buildings, high-tech transportation, as well as urban facilities and social amenities among others to present a charming and livable city. The scenography shall be original and spectacular, highlighting innovation, creation, technology and eco-design. On the mezzanine a tactile flagstone gives access to a hundred audiovisual subjects accessed through a tree structure built on 5 topics and some secondary axes. The transversality of the set of “lifestyle” themes is transposed onto a central screen for visitors to watch a six-minute long film which showcases Paris and its Region through the eyes of two young Chinese people as an impressionist promenade (La Tour Eiffel, Versailles, Docks en Seine, Royaumont...). The full content of the project will soon be provided in english on the official website.
