    • Shanghai Art Museum
      A few hundred meters from the MOCA is the Shanghai Art Museum, which gathers interesting pieces of contemporary art, from China and abroad. The museum hosts the Shanghai Biennale, one of the most important art exhibition in Asia.

    • Shanghai Museum (ancient Chinese art and artefacts)
      Round-shaped Shanghai museum was built in 1952 on the site of Shanghai old horsetrack, in the center of which is now People Square. The museum is famous for its rich ancient Chinese bronze, ceramics, painting and calligraphy. The Museum has eleven galleries and three special temporary exhibition halls.

    • Shanghai Science and Technology Museum
      Located on the southeast end of Century Avenue beside Century Park, Shanghai Science & Technology Museum opened in 2001. 12 theme exhibition halls are opened to the public, designed mainly for the younger audience.

    • Duo Lun museum and Cultural Street
      The stately brick homes and shops on this 8km stretch of the street have been preserved and refurbished making it a fine pedestrian mall of bookshops, teahouses, antiques shops, historic homes, with a museum hosting contemporary art exhibitions. If you're interested in Shanghai's colonial architecture, or if your travels take you to Hongkou, on the nort side of town, then Duolun Road is a must.

    • 50 Moganshan lu
      One of the most active art center thanks to the ShanghArt and BizArt galleries. Located in an old factory, M50 is a fantastic place to walk around the galleries to discover young and confirmed Chinese and International artists.
